Pokemon Omega Ruby and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire

Pokemon Omega Ruby and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire , 3DS remakes of the original Pokemon Ruby and Pokemon Sapphire games, are slated for a November 2014 release date. Pokemon Omega Ruby and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire will follow in the foot steps of Pokemon Leafgreen and Soul Silver (and their counter parts) as being remakes of the original Pokemon adventures.

Pokemon Omega Ruby and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire Details

ORAS has been shown to not only be graphical remakes of the original 3rd generation games, but also are introducing concepts from the most recent XY generation, specifically, mega evolution. Of significance, the box art Pokemon, Groudon and Kyogre have been given special mega evolution forms called their primal forms. With their original designs and back-story being based on lore of a past epic battle, they have been given this special evolution to showcase their ancient power in battle.

 

Not only will the title legendary Pokemon be receiving new primal or mega evolution forms, but additional Pokemon have been announced as receiving mega evolutions forms including Slowbro, Altaria and the still unreleased Diancie.

Additional new Pokemon ORAS details include the cosplay Pikachu options. Players will be able to dress up their Pikachu in various costumes, expanding upon the customization options that have increased in each generation, and giving your Pokemon more interaction options. The dressed up Pikachu will also be available in battle.
