Three new mega evolutions have been revealed for Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire; Camerupt, Gallade and Sharpedo.
Mega Camerupt will get the ability Sheer Force, a 30% boost in attacking moves, and a boost in all stats except for its speed. Mega Camerupt loses the two small geysers on its back, and gains one large volcano. In the original Gen3 game, the team Magma leader used a Camerupt in their battle against the player, so this is perhaps foreshadowing that this time around, the battle will feature a Mega Evolution stage as well.
Mega Sharpedo will receive Strong Jaw , a 50% boost to all biting attacks, and receive a boost to all stats, and will likely be used by Team Aqua. Its form changes include a facial feature like that of a saw shark, and several added yellow markings on its body.In the original gen 3 games, Sharpedo, despite being a shark and water type, did not show off any water based moves. While receiving the ability strong jaw, it shows that pure brute force with physical biting attacks will still be part of its arsenal, we have to believe that its moveset have been updated to include water since then.
Unfortunately there has been no ability or stat updates released for Mega Gallade, but its form changes include a white cape-like addition to its back, and a change in the blades on its arms.
